The 1st January 1995, 19 townships,made the choice of solidarity and a work together by constituting the Communauté de Communes de Sainte Mère Eglise.
 
The Communauté de Communes affiliates today 28 townships and gather 8 676 inhabitants on about 230 km². Since the elections of Mars 2008, it is headed by Mr Pierre AUBRIL.
 
Very close to the Landing Beaches, come and visit a country area which has a rich nature and a exceptional Heritage : le Plain.
 
Castles and manor-farms, forgotten mills and roman steeple can be discovered during your walks.

In this Bocage (countryside with small fields and many hedges), from the coast to the little valleys of the Marschlands, go and visit these historic places where you’ll find a wind of Freedom.
